The Secret Service is “aware” of the alleged iCloud hack of Hunter Biden’s iPhone widely accessible and shared on Twitter, but they did not comment beyond the acknowledgment. In a statement to National Review, they said they are not in a position to “make public comments on potential investigative actions.”
President Biden did not comment on any of it, nor did the press shop.

THE WHITE HOUSE
Manuel Oliver, the father of Joaquim, who died in a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, was booted out of the event at the White House yesterday after he stood up to demand more action from President Biden.
“We have to do more,” Manuel Oliver told Biden.
“Sit down and hear what I have to say,” responded Biden before Oliver was removed from the event.
Instead of letting the man who lost his son speak and using it as a moment to show that the President has the heart and mind to engage in real conversation with the victim’s father, the President’s staff preferred scripted speech on a teleprompter.
Yesterday at the White House, President Biden has been presented by the image of the universe generated by the James Webb telescope.
NASA Director Bill Nelson said the telescope technology could determine whether other planets were habitable.
“Whoa,” said Biden.

Today at the White House, President Biden will host the President Obrador of Mexico.
The First Family will host the White House Congressional Picnic in the afternoon on the South Lawn.
In the evening, Biden will depart on his foreign trip. Next stop, Jerusalem.

Across the pond, the leadership contest for No 10 is in full swing, with candidates making their case for becoming the next Prime Minister of the UK. Until 6pm local time today, the candidates have to present that they’ve gained the support of 20 backers.
Rishi Sunak said that he has nothing to do with Dominic Cummings, frenemy of Boris Johnson and that if elected, Cummings will not come anywhere near Sunak’s government and No 10. This morning in London, Sunak has considerably toned down the rhetoric against Boris Johnson, promising not to demonize the prime minister.
Liz Truss is gaining more support from the loyalists of Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg, and Nadine Dorries, sending endorsement her way. David Davis is supporting Penny Mordaunt.
On a visit to the Francis Crick Institute in London, the outgoing PM Boris Johnson said that he wouldn’t publicly endorse any of the candidates in order not to “damage” their run.
The US supports the Canadian government’s decision to return a natural-gas turbine to Germany for use in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, according to Ned Price of the State Department.
“In the short term, the turbine will allow Germany and other European countries to replenish their gas reserves, increasing their energy security and resiliency and countering Russia’s efforts to weaponize energy,” said Price.
