As data becomes available, Air Serbia proudly announces that the airline served 303,189 passengers in April this year. This achievement represents the highest April result since 2023.
A notable surge in passenger volume, highlighted by a remarkable 7 percent increase compared to April 2023, underscores the airline’s steadfast momentum. Facilitating this surge were 3,271 meticulously executed flights departing from key hubs in Belgrade, Nis, and Kraljevo airports.
Reflecting on this remarkable feat, Bosko Rupic, General Manager of Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia, expressed his pride in the airline’s accomplishments.“Last year was record-breaking for us, and already at the beginning of 2024, we noticed that
the trend of increasing passenger numbers continues. The results achieved so far show that
all four months of the current year are more successful than the same months in 2023. The
summer season has started dynamically, and everything indicates that it will continue this
way,” Rupic said.
Popular destinations in April 2024 within Western Europe included Paris, Zurich, Milan, London, Rome, and Amsterdam.
Podgorica and Tivat were among the most sought-after destinations, while flights to Istanbul, Athens, Barcelona, and Larnaca saw high demand in the broader Euro-Mediterranean zone.
