This Valentine’s Day, Air Serbia is turning romance into a boarding pass. For one weekend only—14 and 15 February—the Serbian flag carrier is offering couples the chance to buy one ticket at full price and receive 50 percent off the second.

The promotion is available at the airline’s office in Galerija Shopping Mall in Belgrade and via its Contact Centre, a throwback to the idea that some journeys begin with a conversation rather than a click.

The offer covers 20 destinations across Europe and North America, spanning sun-soaked coasts and winter city breaks alike. Among them: Barcelona, Paris, Rome, London, Lisbon, Madrid and Toronto, as well as Chania, Tenerife, Palermo and Thessaloniki for those craving a Mediterranean escape.

From a long weekend wandering through Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter to a candlelit dinner overlooking the Seine in Paris, or even a transatlantic adventure to Toronto, the airline’s network reads like a ready-made mood board for couples.

Notably, there is no restriction on the travel period. That flexibility may prove the most romantic detail of all. Rather than forcing travellers into a narrow booking window, the airline is giving couples the freedom to plan around their own travel calendars.

Air Serbia’s Valentine’s initiative invites passengers to see travel as a love story unfolding.

And for couples weighing dinner reservations against departure gates, the airline has made the choice tempting: why exchange chocolates when you could exchange boarding passes?

Air Serbia’s Valentine’s initiative suggests that modern romance is not performative but experiential. The most memorable gestures are not always wrapped—they are booked.

This year, love is not measured in bouquets, but in boarding passes. Or perhaps—if one insists on indulgence—in both: roses in hand, passports at the ready, and the quiet understanding that the most enduring romances are the ones that travel well with Air Serbia.
