British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has arrived at the White House for a highly significant bilateral meeting with President Trump—one of the most consequential in decades.
Stepping out of his car, Starmer briefly addressed a question from the assembled press outside the West Wing.
“Can we still get the peace deal done?” a reporter asked.
“Yes,” Starmer replied before making his way inside.
The meeting with Trump is currently underway.
