President Biden will be briefed this morning and will welcome Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida for a three-day meeting at the White House.
Biden will talk to Japanese PM about cooperation with Japan on AUKUS Pillar II advanced capability projects.
Trump’s expression of his views on abortion and exceptions to the abortion ban has promoted a strong reaction from the Biden campaign.
“If Donald Trump is elected President again he will ban abortion nationwide,” the Biden campaign warns.
Russell Vought, a former Trump official tweeted Trump would, “Decide for life. Every time.“

Vought currently serves as an advisor to Project 2025, which describes itself as the Conservative Promise, aiming to “assemble an army of aligned, vetted, trained, and prepared conservatives to go to work on Day One to deconstruct the Administrative State.”
Biden has confirmed his campaign is actively hiring staff “all across the country” and plans to open “hundreds of offices.”
Speaking at a campaign reception in Chicago on Monday, Biden expressed a heightened sense of obligation for the 2024 election, stating it’s one he feels “more obliged to win than I want to win.”
Biden spoke of women in America who for the past 50 years had abortion rights to see Trump taking that away from them.
“No one trusts Donald Trump. He made a political deal to get rid of Roe v. Wade,” said Biden. He added that Trump’d ban abortion nationwide.
Today’s schedule in the Senate is packed.
At 9:30 a.m., Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Chair Gen. C.Q. Brown will testify before the Armed Services Committee.
At 2:30 p.m., USAID Administrator Samantha Power will testify before an Appropriations subcommittee.
In response to the impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is determined to use all available means to ensure its failure by filing a motion to dismiss or table.
UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, has met with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach on Monday.
Today, Secretary of State Antony Blinken will welcome Cameron at the State Department for a bilateral meeting, followed by a joint press conference.

In a joint press conference alongside Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron issued a pointed message to Kosovo’s Prime Minister Kurti.
