Willa Cather, celebrated as one of the nation’s most beloved authors, captured the essence of the Great Plains and the American spirit through her written works.
The ceremony aims to commemorate Willa Cather’s significant contributions to literature and her ability to vividly portray the essence of the American heartland.
The statue dedication ceremony will be held in Statuary Hall, a historic location within the United States Capitol.
