According to Downing Street, PM Liz Truss will make a statement at 1:30 pm. 

The Chair of the 1922 Committee, Sir Graham Brady, came to No.10 this morning to meet with Prime Minister Truss. 

So far, 16 MPs have publicly called for Truss to resign. 

It was only yesterday that Truss told the nation that she is 

the fighter, not quitter.”
