POTUS and FLOTUS and six other members of the official party appeared at 7:22 pm.
POTUS and the rest of the official party, which includes military dignitaries, marched up to what the military called a ramp, which is adjacent to a Boeing 747 plane. (The ramp looks like a cargo loader). Two flag draped transfer cases rested on the ramp. POTUS and the official party stood for a moment while a chaplain said a prayer.

The soldiers slowly carried one transfer case into the back of a waiting transfer vehicle. Then they waited for a moment at the back of the vehicle before they returned to the cargo plane to get the second one.
At 7:31 pm, the van doors were shut and the vehicle drove away.
Other dignitaries included National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien and chairman of the joint chiefs.
Jon Voight spoke to the pool briefly and said he didn’t meet the families but he observed the ceremony. He was invited by Trump earlier during the medal ceremony at the White House.
