Good morning from Wilmington, Del., on a bright and unseasonably warm Sunday morning.

After the pool waited down the street from President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s home, the press bus joined his motorcade at 10:34 a.m. We are heading to church.

Members of the pool were tested for the coronavirus and had their temperatures checked, as had been customary for the Biden pool during the campaign.

The motorcade arrived at St. Joseph on the Brandywine around 10:36 a.m. after a quick ride. From a distance, the pool witnessed Mr. Biden enter the church just after we arrived. He was joined by his daughter, Ashley Biden, and his grandson Hunter.

Anticipating Mr. Biden’s visit, some other members of the media were also on hand to witness the president-elect’s arrival, and there are several cameras set up on tripods along a fence some distance away from the church.

From the press bus, Mr. Biden could only be seen in the cemetery from a great distance, but the photographers in the pool were able to capture images of him. The motorcade departed  at 11:42 a.m.

Biden exited church around 11:30 a.m. and walked in the direction of the cemetery where his son Beau; his first wife, Neilia; and their daughter, Naomi, are buried. We are now holding on to the press bus.

The motorcade arrived back at Mr. Biden’s home around 11:47 a.m. Mr. Biden was not visible upon arriving. A lid has been called.
