Hey there, did you hear about Biden’s Saturday? Well, let me fill you in. The press bus joined the motorcade on the road outside the President’s home in Delaware at 17:07. They were en route to an undisclosed location, and if you’re curious about where they were going, you better go back and read more Saturday afternoon press pool reports.
It was chilly and sunny outside, and the press pool had their belongings sniffed by a friendly dog before they arrived at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Catholic Church at 17: 09. This happens to be the President’s home church, and he was wearing a sharp blue suit when he walked into the yellow building with a single spire just a minute later.
The president emerged from the church at 17: 55 and had a brief chat with the priest outside the door before he climbed into his SUV and left. The motorcade was back on the move at 17: 58 and returned to his residence around 18:02.
The press bus headed back to the hold point near the president’s home while the motorcade headed off to an unknown destination.
Okay, okay, I know what you’re thinking, “unknown destination? That’s no good!” But don’t worry, I’m confident that people at the head of the motorcade know where they’re going. The president’s motorcade arrived in downtown Wilmington at 18:30, and it turns out that he was dining out. The press couldn’t see which restaurant he entered from the van, but we later found out that he and the First Lady were dining at The Quoin restaurant, in the hotel of the same name.
The motorcade was heading back to the Biden home after their dinner, and they left the restaurant at 19: 45, with their SUV and the rest of the vehicles on the road just three minutes later. President Biden and Jill Biden returned to their home at 20:01, after their fancy dinner outing.
Well, well, well, looks like President Biden knows how to keep things interesting. Who knows what he’ll get up to next? Stay tuned!
