FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Due to an agreement between Russia and Ukraine on a ceasefire from 9am to 9pm local time today, it is understood that civilians will be able to leave Ukraine through safe corridors.

Zelenskyy appealed to the UK Parliament in a special video address which was broadcast in the House of Commons yesterday. He called on Members of Parliament to proclaim Russia a “terrorist state,” issue more sanctions, and implement a no-fly zone.

“We will fight at sea, in the air. We will continue fighting for our land whatever the cost. We will fight in the forest, in the field, on the shores and on the streets,” pledged Zelenskyy.

The US and the UK have reached the decision to ban Russian oil.

As the gas prices for Americans are guaranteed to climb even higher, Pskai said that “Americans are paying a higher price at the pump because of the actions of President Putin.” She added, “This is a Putin spike at the gas pump, not one prompted by our sanctions.”
