DNI Ratcliffe issues statement on declassification of transcripts concerning Gen Flynn and a former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
“It is my obligation to review declassification requests with the overarching priority of protecting sources and methods, while also providing transparency whenever possible”, Ratcliffe said.
The transcripts of the Flynn-Kislyak call on Dec. 22, 2016, were declassified by the outgoing DNI director Richard Grenell and Ratcliffe made a decision to make them public.
