Democrats, let’s not pretend. Hillary Clinton would have fired James Comey on her first day in office.

Anyone who is familiar with Hillary Clinton knows that she tends to sees people as either for or against her. The FBI director, James Comey, in her mind, was clearly against her. Along with the Russians, Trump’s deplorables and anyone really who remembered the Whitewater days.

For those of you who do not remember, Whitewater, is the old investigation into Bill Clinton back in Arkansas that set the mind of Hillary Clinton, that there was some anti-Clinton conspiracy taking place. Since then, Hillary Clinton was not shy from making clear that she does not employ the enemies.

It became a common knowledge in Washington circles that once you get critical of Clinton, you are out of her faction of the Democratic Party.

During her time as the Secretary of State, Hillary resisted hiring Obama’s people, as she perceived them to be disloyal. If Hillary was not even able to cross internal party lines and hire someone within the same party, why would she keep James Comey?

The digital footprint abounds in quotes from Hillary and people close to her critical of James Comey. Sen Schumer said “I do not have confidence in him any longer,” on record for Bloomberg News. And, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told CNN’s Jamie Gangel that Comey  “maybe he’s not in the right job.”

On the first day in office, Hillary Clinton wouldn’t have given the real reason for firing James Comey. She would have said it was “time for new leadership” or made some other eloquent statement the media networks would disseminate. There would be no discussion and no one would criticize Clinton.
